Braco Stables
Your horse will dive right in to the waves and frolic in the Caribbean Sea with you riding bareback.
This is the thrill of horseback riding, combined with the beauty of the rural Jamaican countryside, combined with a built-in history lesson telling the story of Jamaica. Plus, it features the unique and invigorating experience of swimming bareback on a horse through the warm waters of the Caribbean!
Braco Stables will provide an experienced guide to pick out a horse that suits your riding level. And then, your excursion begins! As you stroll through the rural countryside you’ll hear tales of local smugglers, abandoned World War II aircraft and the history of the Braco Estate. You’ll then commence to the incredible shore for a ride on a private beach.
Your horse will dive right in to the waves and frolic in the Caribbean Sea with you riding bareback – by far the most exhilarating part of this adventure! The tour concludes by the colorful gardens, where you can enjoy a tropical drink and relax on the gazebo. This is a one-of-a-kind experience, perfect for families, couples or adventure seekers.

Dates and Prices: Cruise ship passengers from Ocho Rios: US$80.00 per person. Cruise ship passengers from Montego Bay: US$70.00 per person. Hotel and villa guests between the Runaway Bay and Montego Bay vicinity: US$70.00 per person. Transfers included.
Average population: Groups are welcomed and special rates can be provided with or without a BBQ lunch at the beach – groups need to be booked in advance. There is a snack shop at the beach where refreshments and snacks are available on sale.
Highlights: Wear your swimsuit under long pants for the sea ride. Be sure to bring your camera and sun block. Trail masters will find a horse suitable to your riding experience.
